What is your Health Intelligence (HI?)

Health Intelligence is understanding, developing and implementing healthy routines to produce a wholesome and productive lifestyle. In order to be health intelligent, all areas of the individual must be addressed equally, cared for equally, and nurtured equally. No one area is more valuable than another, and all three areas are necessary for positive overall health. So what is your Health Intelligence? (There are no right or wrong answers, just answer as honestly as you can.)

Body

1. I sleep at least eight hours or more a day/night.
2. I always wake up feeling refreshed.
3. I wash my hands before I eat.
4. I eat at least three meals every day.
5. I eat breakfast every day.
6. I eat (protein) meat, vegetables, and fruit every day.
7. I eat fast food every day.
8. I drink at least eight glasses of water each day.
9. I use butter to cook with and with my meals.
10. I use margarine to cook with and with my meals.
11. I drink more than two glasses of alcoholic beverages daily.
12. I drink alcohol and drive.
13. I exercise sixty minutes weekly.
14. I smoke cigarettes.
15. I brush my teeth at least twice daily.
16. I bathe every day.
17. I get my teeth cleaned at least once a year.
18. I get at least an annual dental checkup.
19. I get at least an annual medical checkup.
20. I get an eye check up every three years.
21. I wear comfortable shoes.
22. My Body Mass Index is Normal.
23. My Blood Pressure is Normal.
24. My HDL level is above 60mg.
25. My LDL level is less than 100mg.

 

Mind

Interpretation:

If your HI is between 321 – 390, then congratulations you are doing a great job with your health, read on to find some extra ways to be even healthier.

If your HI is between 241 – 320, then I’m glad you bought my book and workbook, I’m sure you will find a few things you can apply to your life immediately.

If your HI is between 81 – 240, then I would urge you to make some changes to your life immediately, and you may benefit from a one-one coaching session with me.
